Chimney & Leadwork
Specialist chimney repairs, repointing, lead flashing and lead valley installations.
Chimneys and leadwork are among the most common areas where roof problems originate. Ridge Vane Roofing Limited offers specialist chimney repair and lead flashing services to keep your property watertight and structurally sound.
Our chimney services include full repointing, stack rebuilds, chimney cowl and pot installations, flaunching repairs, and waterproofing treatments. Whether your chimney is showing signs of deterioration or you have an active leak, our team has the skills and equipment to resolve the issue.
Lead flashing and valley work requires specialist knowledge and traditional plumbing skills. Our experienced roofers are fully trained in working with sheet lead to BS standards, ensuring proper stepped flashings, back gutters, soakers, and valley linings that will last for decades.
We also offer modern alternatives to traditional lead where appropriate, including lead-effect flashings and GRP valley troughs. However, for period and listed properties, we always recommend and use traditional lead sheet work to maintain the character and integrity of the building.
